Reunification therapy

Rebuilding the bond between children and their parents or caregivers — with patience and clinical care.

Hands holding in a gesture of comfort and support

Overview

Sometimes a child's relationship with a parent has been strained by separation, conflict, or time apart. Reunification therapy is a careful, structured process for rebuilding that bond — always at the child's pace, and always with the child's wellbeing at the center.

We work with the child, the parent, and when appropriate the wider family system to rebuild trust step by step. Sessions move gradually from parallel comfort toward genuine connection, and we coordinate respectfully with courts, guardians ad litem, and caseworkers when a reunification plan is part of a legal process.
